Rowan IEEE Students Compete at PennApps

IEEE student branch members Nick Felker, Christopher Frederickson, and Max Bareiss were featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer over the weekend as they participated in PennApps XII, the world’s largest student hackathon.

Their project, called PetApps, used an accelerometer tied in with machine learning to detect whether or not your pet was limping. Though they did not win any prizes, it was a great networking opportunity and this project has been featured as a staff pick this week.
